🍰 HOW TO USE EDIBLE IMAGES
Applying to Frosted Desserts
-
Press the image onto fresh, slightly tacky frosting, or spread a thin layer of frosting or edible glue on the back first.
-
Gently smooth down the edges with a clean, dry hand or paper towel.
-
If edges lift, dab a bit of frosting underneath and press again.
-
Use buttercream, royal icing, cream-cheese frosting, clear piping gel, corn syrup, or edible glue as your adhesive.
-
Avoid thin liquids — they’ll dissolve the wafer paper.
Applying to Chocolate or Candy
-
Wait until chocolate is fully dry before applying the image.
-
Use a small amount of edible glue or frosting to adhere.
-
For molded treats, place the image face-down in the mold before pouring the chocolate for a perfectly smooth look.
Pro Fondant Method
Roll out white fondant, lightly brush with edible glue, place the image on top, and cut around it with a cookie cutter or knife.
This gives a clean, professional finish and keeps colors bright.
After Applying
-
Do not refrigerate or freeze after applying the image — humidity can warp it.
-
Store desserts at room temperature in a covered container.
-
To help images flatten perfectly, place desserts in an airtight container for about an hour — the trapped humidity softens and seals the edges.
-
Apply as close to serving time as possible for best results.
(If freezing desserts ahead, wait until they’re thawed before adding images.)
📄 CLASSIC VS. EXTRA-THICK PAPER
Classic (O-Grade): thin, flexible, slightly transparent — best on light-colored frosting.
Extra Thick (DD-Grade): double the thickness, opaque, crisp — great for standalone toppers or discs.
🥂 DRINK TOPPERS
These can also float beautifully on drinks!
Simply place on top of your beverage — do not press down.
They will gradually soften over about an hour without losing the image.
Dark prints may release a little color as they dissolve (especially in clear liquids).
💌 QUALITY PROMISE
All images are printed fresh using premium wafer paper and FDA-approved edible inks.
Each set is food-safe, vegan, and sealed for freshness.
Colors may vary slightly due to screen settings, frosting color, or humidity.
